  • We understand that finding time can be tricky, that’s why we have streamlined our monitor process to make it as efficient and easy as possible. Monitors are prepared, fitted and uploaded by staff with the whole process taking around 5 minutes per monitor. We recommend making a block of time once or twice a week for monitor fitting.

  • Clinics are encouraged to charge a small out-of-pocket fee to compensate for attaching the monitors. This is done by all Holter centres and pathology clinics with most competitors charging between $40 - $47.50 out-of-pocket for 24hr Holter monitoring. Moreover, the supplied ambulatory blood pressure monitor can be charged to patients with all profit going to the clinic. This can be done via the MBS code or an out-of-pocket cost that can be determined by the clinic with most competitors charging $80 - $100 for this service.

  • PulseSense charges the MBS code payment for the Holter as this payment covers; cost of the monitor, consumables such as the batteries and electrodes, the software for analysing, the software for the clinic, compensating the cardiac physiologist who analyses the data and compensating the cardiologist who reports the data.

  • Once contacted, we will send one of our team members to come have an in-person meeting at your clinic to run you through our services in detail and show you our monitors. After this, monitors can be ordered for the clinic with a starting inventory of 2x Holter Monitors and 1x Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor. More monitors can be given over time if more are needed. Monitors will then be delivered to the clinic as well as a set-up amount of consumables as well as all the necessary forms to hand out to staff and patients. Then, a detailed in-person training session will be conducted with clinic staff to inform teach them how to set up, attach and distribute all monitor data.
